About APHCA


Asia Pacific Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association was set up in 1991, with the main objective of strengthening and uniting hair and beauty practitioners in the Asia Pacific. As of to date, members of APHCA include Australia, Canada, Cambodia, China, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taipei, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America and Vietnam.

 

APHCA initiated the Asia Pacific Hair & Make-up Olympics in 1997. The event comprises of competitions, exhibitions, hair and makeup shows and educational seminars which are organised on a yearly basis and will rotate among its member countries. 

 

The purpose of the Asia Pacific Hair & Make-Up Olympics is to stimulate the cooperation and development among the hairdressing and cosmetology industry players with the aim to unite the industries in Asia Pacific region, uplifting them to a greater level.
